Lindsay earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education with a focus in Language Arts and a minor in psychology from Frostburg State University and an Associates of Science degrees in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Allegany College of Maryland prior to beginning graduate studies in speech language pathology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). 

During her time at IUP, Lindsay served as a graduate assistant for the on-campus Speech Language and Hearing Clinic. She completed her educational externships with ARIN Intermediate Unit during which time she worked with students with cochlear implants, students in the high school Life Skills classroom and students receiving services through an elementary Autism support classroom. Lindsay then completed her medical externship at Donahoe Manor a Rehabilitation and long term care facility where she worked with patients who required cognitive rehabilitation, feeding and swallowing therapy, and therapy to support memory, word retrieval and executive functioning. 

Following graduation in 2014, Lindsay accepted a position as a Speech Language Pathologist with Frederick County Public Schools, Lindsay spent the next five years working with students ages 3-11 in a local elementary school providing therapy for expressive, receptive and pragmatic language disorders in addition to providing services to address articulation and phonological disorders. During her time with Frederick County Public Schools, Lindsay also had the opportunity to provide services for students in the three and four year old Inclusive Prek program and students in the elementary Learning for Life program. Lindsay has experience working with children with Down Syndrome, Autism, cognitive impairments, Emotional and Behavioral Disorders and ADHD. 

Lindsay has completed the Introductory and Bridgining Training for PROMPT as well as participating in trainings for LAMP.
